Seen. I agree, but in view of Mr. Johnson's minute of the 8th July, 1949 on the 1948 file, and the fact he has recently visited Hong Kong, it might be considered worth while waiting to hear what he has to say.

He is due to return here on the 23rd of September.

This further relatively short delay is not likely to aggravate the position very much, if at all, particularly so in view of the action agreed upon.
